Online Grocery Orders

When tracking an online GROCERY order with Island Bargains, log into your account and click the “My Account / Order Status” link at the top right-hand side of our site to track your order.
It will either be marked as PENDING (prior to monies being applied); PROCESSING (fulfillment stage), READY TO SHIP (pending port delivery), or SHIPPED (delivered to the port for sailing).
Grocery orders must be paid in full prior to shipping. *3% surcharge applies to cash orders.
Click the “My Account / Order Status” link at the top right-hand side of our site to view orders you have placed. Then click the “Change quantities / cancel orders” link to find and edit your order. Please note that once an order has begun processing or has shipped, the order is no longer editable.

If a particular item is out of stock at the time of fulfillment, Island Bargains will make a substitution of a similar item of equal or greater value to what was originally ordered. Should you be dissatisfied with the substitution, or if a completely incorrect item was sent, simply contact our on-island agent within 72 hours of receipt and return the unopened, unused items to our on-island agent for credit.
Should any item be out of stock at the time of fulfillment, a credit will be given for the amount of the item which can be used toward your next Island Bargains grocery order.

Package and Cargo Shipping

Island Bargains is not responsible for cargo unclaimed after 180 days from the date received.
Island Bargains will not be held liable for loss of a shipment, damage to a shipment or delay caused by any events we cannot control; including but not limited to acts of God, the acts of another carrier or third party with whom we contract, or the action of omissions by any governmental or public authority (including but not limited to customs or health officials), or omission by anyone outside Island Bargains. Island Bargains reserves the right, without admitting liability, to refund transportation charges or other charges at its sole discretion, but is not obligated to do so.
If you have delivered cargo to us for export, subsequently, the cargo needs to be picked up without being exported. A re-handling in/out fee will apply. Please contact our Customer Care department for more info. Trucker/pick up party must have a pickup order from the shipper/consignee authorizing the release of the cargo. In/out charge must be paid prior to cargo release.

Island Bargains shipping charges are based on cubic measure. Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you see your shipping charges prior to payment.

You will receive a shipment confirmation when your order has shipped and tracking information within 24-48 hours of shipment.

Guarantees

All claims must be made in writing to Island Bargains within 30 days that we accepted your shipment. No claims will be accepted or reviewed until all shipping charges and any other related charges owed have been paid in full. You may not deduct the amount of any claim from shipping and related charges. If you accept your shipment without noting any damage, it is agreed the shipment was delivered in good and acceptable condition. In order for us to consider any claim for damage, you must also make the contents and original shipping cartons and packing materials available for inspection.

All cargo shipped by Island Bargains, LLC, is subject to Shipping Insurance, based on the value of the goods. Shipping insurance is calculated at 1.5% of the value of goods to be shipped. Coverage commences from the time the goods leave the shipper and continues in force during the ordinary and customary course of transit to the final warehouse destination.

In consideration of the transportation charges for the movement of any shipment, it is agreed that the liability of Island Bargains shall be limited, in any event, to the lower sum of $1000 USD or the actual value of the documents or shipment, unless additional insurance coverage is arranged and paid for in advance. The actual value of packages shall be the lower of the cost of replacing the contents in the case of lost items, re-directing the cargo to the corrected destination in the case of misdirected cargo, or repair and/or replacement parts in the case of damaged cargo. Settlement may be made is either shipping credit or monetary compensation based on the circumstance of the individual occurrence. Claims supported by proper documentation will be settled within 90 days of claim filing.

Packages ship out each week as they arrive. As most all shipments include Customs clearing fees, there is no need to hold or consolidate. Consolidation is available for commercial accounts or full container loads only. Island Bargains shipping rates are based on cubic measure.
